60 Hours and Counting

It's getting down to the wire. I have my clothes packed. I have all the important addresses programmed into the GPS using newly purchased Maps of Europe. I have folders stuffed with info about hotels, car rental and things to do and see. I even have Geocache locations pinpointed to search for which are 5,021 miles from my present location. I have been learning basic Italian and the phrase that keeps going through my mind is "Non vedo l'ora"... I can't wait!
Sure I like to be prepared. It only makes sense to try to THINK of the situations that might present themselves and DO whatever you can to avoid difficulties. But after the last travel page has been printed and the last check list has been reviewed, I am TOTALLY ready to enjoy whatever crazy adventures may come our way. I embrace the unexpected parts of this journey which I cannot plan. Stay tuned to share the fun!
